Brian will show you the simple techniques of creating two of the most popular fermented foods: sauerkraut and kimchi. We’ll do a live demo of each and welcome you to join in the process to really get the feel of it.

Fermentation Part 2: The Joy of Homebrewing
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Brewing your own beer can be fun and rewarding! And it’s probably easier than you think. Brian will go over the basic equipment required to start brewing and proper sanitization practices. We’ll also taste, smell and discuss the basic ingredients of any beer: malt, hops, yeast and water. We’ll discuss how these ingredients can affect the color and flavor of your beer and when each one gets added during the process. Stop by this exciting class and learn why there’s nothing more satisfying than drinking your very own brew!
